Surprising My LIL SIS in the States!!

Yeah It been ages since my last post, so here the latest coolest thing I 'm ECSTATIC about. My friend's lil sis B-day is on July 19 Saturday. So I've asked the chef at their hotel Chef Alessandro Cartumini of the Four Seasons Palo Alto to help me surpirse her, I've given him an idea about what I had in mind. I chose Vanilla Cake, Vanilla filling with fresh Vanilla Beans as bakeries usually use Madagascar Vanilla which usually contains Bourbon which is a big NO NO!!! and the birthday girl is a fan of soccer , anyways enjoy the pics.....

This is what I sent him.....

I thanked the chef alot!!! it looked amazing didn't it?!!

Preparing for my (bachelor) Uncle's wedding...!!

On the top of my list is finding a dress then losing abit o' weight,....I know that it should be the other way round, but in Dubai a sale doesn't wait for you to lose weight so that you can buy your "it" dress.....so I found my dress the other day in a five day sale in Boutique 1 (formerly known as Villa Moda and at the same day I saw Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid!!! very fascinating but that was another story.....)....it doesn't look that good in the photo...but it looked very ......shall I say royalesque when I wore it (plus it was an Oscar de la Renta!!! with 30% off!!)......and that was it...and btw it was without the fur thing...

Now my next mission is to start the Master Cleanse Diet aka Beyonce's diet it consists of:
-two tablespoons lemon or lime juice, preferably fresh-squeezed from organic citrus (about half a lemon or lime)
-two tablespoons genuine Grade B maple syrup (not maple flavored syrup)
-a pinch of cayenne pepper or to taste
-eight ounces of water (many people recommend purified or filtered water) cold or at room temperature.
-Mix all of the ingredients and drink.
so if any if you has tried it out there please tell me more about it..

Architecture Digest

OK I have to admit that I haven't been posting anything cuz of them horrible project deadlines...anyway as this is out now.....I will introduce my latest passion and craze ...ARCHITECTURE!!!!.....yeah I never saw that coming and I've been flicking through interior dsign websites and buying dozens of dubai property/homedesign magazines..... and now I'm thinking of makeovering my room......but before going further I had to post this....I'm really inspired by this AMAZING Iraqi architecture designer called Zaha Hadid....who is a genius.....watch and enjoy the breathtaking work of hers....

This was made for Chanel here is an explanaion of what it is exactly:

"The architectural structure of the Pavilion is a series of continuous arch-shaped elements, with a courtyard in its central space. The glazed ceiling adjusts to allow for control of the interior temperature in response to the particular climate conditions of each venue city."

"Natural light descending from seven elements on the ceiling, meets artificial light pushed up from gap between the walls and raised floor to emphasize the “arched” structure, and assists in the creation of a new artificial landscape for art installations."

This is another state-of-the-art building she's doing in the capital for Abu Dhabi Performance Arts Centre....I like :)

I love her extravagant style yet kind of "jetsons" take on buildings.
My next post will be on what I'm planning to do for my room!
